N
ot all secondary plant metabolites are volatile.
The Natural Molecules Chemistry Laboratory studies the extraction (including eco-extraction), separation and chemical composition of secondary plant metabolites, as well as their biological properties (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, etc.) with a view to applications in various fields (mainly phytopharmacy, cosmetology and agronomy).

- Phytochemistry of five Maghreb plant species
- Phytochemistry and biological properties of two plants from Cameroon
- Study of the cosmetic applications of a Senegalese plant
- Secondary caper metabolites produced by in vitro culture
- Antimicrobial activity of aromatic plants from Guinea
- Characterization of xylan degradation in plants
