Induced allelopathy: physiological aspects and signals

This study is focused on induced allelopathy with the Rye-pigweed model. This project (in collaboration with A. Gfeller from the Agroscope (Changins, Switzerland) and C. De Clerck from Agriculture is Life (Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech)) is funded by the IPD-STEMA Postdoctoral Fellowship. We are looking to go deeper into knowledge on induced allelopathy, from the identification of molecules involved in this phenomenon to the determination of how they are perceived by the plant and which metabolic pathways are impacted following their perception.
